The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) has introduced a fleet of 10 Ford E-transit vans for the UTA on-demand service in Tooele County. The fleet has replaced diesel-powered vehicles. The new vans have a capacity of six passengers.

The purchase is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) through a USD1.7 million grant. As part of the transition, the UTA has installed 13 Level 2 overnight chargers and six Level 3 fast charging ports.

The UTA on-demand service is available in four zones located in Southern Salt Lake County, Salt Lake City Westside, Tooele County, and South Davis County. Users can book trips through the website and the mobile application.
