Jeddah faces transportation challenges due to urban sprawl and car dependency, causing congestion, poor air quality, and limited mobility for vulnerable groups. Aligning with Vision 2030, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) offers a cost-effective, sustainable solution. This study evaluates BRT’s feasibility, benefits, and challenges using policy analysis, case studies, and expert insights, assessing its impact on travel times, emissions, equity, and economic growth. Findings highlight BRT’s potential to enhance mobility, environmental performance, and social inclusion. Recommendations focus on integrated planning, governance, public engagement, and funding to make BRT a cornerstone of Jeddah’s sustainable urban future.
