Oman and the Etihad Rail Company have invited pre-qualification bids for the development of depots and stations on the railway line planned between Oman and Abu Dhabi. The line will span 303 km and connect the Port of Sohar in Oman to Abu Dhabi in the UAE.
Participants should be companies registered in the UAE or Oman or should be part of a consortium led by a company registered in the UAE or Oman. Participants must have prior experience in delivering similar freight and passenger rail projects. The pre-qualification bid document is available for purchase and for download till August 27, 2023.
