Jinan Rail Transit Group will launch the Jinan Low-Capacity Rail Transit High-tech East Zone Loop Line, also known as the Skybus or Cloud Bus. The 30.55-km line features 32 stations and one integrated depot. It runs along Chunyuan Road, Century Avenue, Chunxuan Road, and Feiyue Avenue, connecting the Tangye, Suncun, Lianghe, and Zhuangke areas.
The Skybus is a low-capacity rail system designed to complement high-capacity metro services. Currently, it integrates with five transfer stations and is planned to connect with Metro Lines 2, 4, and 8 in the future, expanding the overall metro network coverage. The system aims to enhance local mobility, improve first- and last-mile connectivity, and strengthen the integration of multimodal urban transport in Jinan.
