With the aim of supporting the Federal Government in creating a National Urban Mobility Strategy, BNDES established a partnership with the Ministry of Cities and, with the support of ITDP Brasil and the National Front of Mayors, conducted a survey on public bus transportation in the 21 most populous metropolitan regions of Brazil. The publication identifies gaps in the regulatory environment, maps the public availability of data and proposes a strategic agenda for the creation of public policies that will positively impact the quality of the systems.
