Background

Autonomous mobility is gaining strong momentum across European airports, with robo-shuttles, robotaxis, and self-driving airside vehicles moving from pilots to early real-world deployments. Leading airports in Amsterdam, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Zurich, Copenhagen, and Helsinki are emerging as early adopters of Level-4 autonomous shuttles, baggage handling vehicles, passenger transport systems, self-driving aircraft tugs, maintenance vehicles, and security fleets. A key priority for European airports is ensuring these technologies are integrated safely and seamlessly into complex, highly regulated operational environments, without disrupting existing airside and landside operations.

To explore recent advancements and emerging opportunities, Global Mass Transit is organizing the second webinar on ‘Autonomous Mobility at Airports in Europe‘ on February 18 at 10:30 to 11:30 AM CET.

The webinar will provide a platform to discuss the case studies, latest developments, technologies, and operational models shaping the future of airport mobility.

Key topics to be discussed:

  • Use cases and applications
  • Real-world deployments and lessons learnt
  • Standards, trials, permitting processes, and airport authority considerations
  • Integrating AVs into mixed-traffic airport environments, both airside and landside
  • Scalability and business models
  • Technology showcase
